The workshop is designed to provide students with a clear understanding of theory, concepts, and practical application of negotiation and mediation practices. During the course, students will maximize their current conflict resolution skills and learn new techniques such as the principles of interest-based negotiation and mediation. Topics to be covered over a weekend workshop are overview of different types of mediation, format and structure of mediation, skills and tools for mediation practice, and participation in mediation simulations.
