ART 0371 - Sculpture I
*Sculpture I - Communicating in Three-Dimensions* This course is designed to further an investigation into the techniques and principles of three-dimensional art. Project objectives are designed to provide new problems and techniques to provoke creative solutions and visions. We will experiment with a number of materials and concepts, from wood-bending and welding to performance and installation. Each project's success will rely heavily on the research and commitment students bring to the creative process. Students will be expected to communicate the process and concept behind each artwork visually, orally, and in writing. (ART 0159 and another introductory level studio practice course from the following list: ART 0157, ART 0159, ART 0180, or by approval) 6 hrs. lect.lab
