This course discusses geopolitical aspects of national conflicts. In particular, it explores settlements, migration, demographic changes, and political and military leverage as tools to achieve territorial and political goals in the Arab-Israeli dispute. By the end of the course, the students will be able to • Understand the history of the Israeli-Arab conflict and the use of geography and demographic aspect as tools for achieving political and territorial goals. • Develop the skills necessary for analyzing the current conflict events.
