Hands on introductions to basic
massage strokes for relaxation and stress reduction. Class
format consists of relaxation technique, demonstration,
and praactice using major muscle groups of feet, back, legs,
arms and hands, or head/neck/shoulders. Additional
topics include draping, oils, contraindications,
acupressure and anatomy. Recommended reading:
The Book of Massage by Lucinda Lidell. Please be
sure to bring an old towel or sheet to cover the
tables. First day is foot massage.
