Hands-on introductions to basic massage strokes for
relaxation and stress reduction. Class format consists of
relaxation technique, demonstration and practice using
major muscle groups of feet, back, legs, arms and hands, or
head/neck/shoulders. Additional topics include draping.
oils, contraindications, accupressure and anatomy.
Recommended reading: The Book of Massage by Lucinda Lidell.
Students should bring an old towel or sheet to cover the
tables. First class is foot massage.
No refund will be given in this class after the first
class is held, whether you attended or not.
