*Social Movements in Latin America: The case of Chile (taught in Spanish)* The course offers a complete approach to the topic of social movements in the contemporary Latin American context, with a strong emphasis in the case of Chile. In this context, the course looks for to review the historical antecedents of political and social activism in Chile, which is related with the conformation of the main social movements in contemporary in this country. Thus, the student will have the opportunity to understand the main features, for instance, of the feminist and students’ movements, as well as the, the major social movement since October 18th 2019.
