Financial Aid Application and Instructions
For Summer Programs

Submit your application for financial aid as early as possible or at the same time you submit your application for admission. Do not wait to be accepted by a Middlebury summer program to apply for financial aid. Aid is awarded on a first come - first served basis. We will request any items necessary to complete your financial aid file, and we cannot make an aid decision until you have been accepted to a summer program. If you have any questions please call us at 802.443.5158, use our email address - sfs@middlebury.edu or visit our website - www.middlebury.edu/offices/support/sfs

Our financial aid budget does run out, so you should send a complete application to Student Financial Services as soon as possible to ensure the best possible chance of receiving aid. Aid decisions for the academic year abroad are made at the same time as decisions for the summer. If you wait until the summer to apply for aid for the academic year, funds may be depleted. Put your name on all documents, keep photocopies of everything you send us, and keep a record of the date that you mail each item.

If you are a current Middlebury College undergraduate (domestic and international), do not complete this form. Instead, please complete the online UG Summer Aid request Form which can be found at www.middlebury.edu/offices/support/sfs/forms

Below is a checklist of the basic documents necessary to complete an application for financial aid. Supplemental information will be requested if necessary.
